TuffWrap is Celebrating 25 Years of Protection on the Jobsite! Twenty-five years ago, Dave Campbell needed to solve a roofing contractor’s problem of keeping dust from contaminating a workspace while roofers worked above. Initially, the resolution was to hang a temporary ceiling using a polyethylene sheet suspended below the roof deck. The crew used the new temporary suspended ceiling below the rafters to capture the years of accumulated dust and debris that might drop from above during the reroofing project. It worked well, and with some fine-tuning, the suspended cover system started getting noticed. Dave’s ingenuity shaped the creation of TuffWrap’s signature suspended cover SmartSeam®.
Over the last two and a half decades the company has completed approximately 15 thousand [DS1] interior and exterior protection jobs and manufactured and installed an average of approximately 15 million square feet of protection each year. Designed all in-house, we continue innovating new products while developing existing ones. We are adamant aboutproduct code compliance. TuffWrap works with IAPMO in setting code compliance standards for the industry. We continually adhere to these standards for our products to ensure safety and protect against liability.
