The Problem
When a food producer set out to expand its cold storage capacity, the project introduced a significant operational challenge. The work required cutting concrete and constructing new walls in an active warehouse—activities that would inevitably generate dust and debris.
Because the facility remained fully operational during construction, protecting existing products became a critical concern. Airborne particles and debris posed a direct contamination risk to stored goods, and any compromise in product integrity could lead to costly losses, safety concerns, or disruptions to ongoing operations.
The facility needed a way to clearly separate the construction zone from active storage areas without slowing down workflow or shutting down production. The Solution
TuffWrap implemented its Hybrid Wall system to create a defined barrier between the work zone and clean areas of the warehouse. Our Frameless Walls are temporary containment walls designed to isolate construction activity. When we reinforce them, they become our Hybrid Wall. These walls are stronger than modular walls and can withstand any construction work. Our walls allow the rest of the facility to continue operating as normal.
