PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Jim Conte, TuffWrap’s Safety Manager, is managing and providing oversight of all of TuffWrap’s safety programs. In addition, he conducts safety audits at worksites to observe and provide feedback, oversees our safety protocols, and coordinates with our in-house Safety Committee and HQ to ensure the effectiveness of our training and programs. Jim has an MS in Safety Management from West Virginia University and is familiar with OSHA, MSHA, and DOT. He is CPR/FA Certified, a Defensive Driving Instructor, and an Accredited Office Ergonomic Specialist (AOES).

As a safety manager, Jim feels it is critical to observe a worksite in person to understand the existing job hazards. In doing so, he can successfully make recommendations/controls to mitigate those hazards. His main goal for the safety program is for every employee under his watch to go home at the end of the day the same way they arrived at work: safe and injury free. A successful safety program ensures employees understand its expectations and continues to educate them on regulations from government agencies. In addition, each person will know to identify an unsafe job and the resources to ask for help when needed.

An integral part of the TuffWrap Team, Jim coordinates with the Project Managers to improve efficiency, mitigate risks, and optimize resources. In addition, he trains installers on best practices and current processes. TuffWrap’s expert Installation Team use proprietary installation methods to deliver flexible containment solutions at the jobsite.
