A leaking roof is a problem every property owner wants fixed fast, but in a shopping mall, the fix can’t come at the expense of the customers walking underneath it. When a persistent leak called for roof repairs, this mall faced the prospect of closing one of its most heavily trafficked corridors during one of the busiest times of the year. A closure would have frustrated shoppers, cut off foot traffic to nearby stores, and cost both vendors and mall owners money for as long as the work lasted.

TuffWrap worked around the mall’s regular schedule and the construction timeline, completing the installation over the course of two overnight trips so shoppers and tenants never saw the work happening.

With the project underway, the facility asked TuffWrap to also address dust that had been sitting on the roof deck for years. Using High Structured Dust Removal during takedown, the crew cleared it out as part of the same job.

The Result: The Mall Stayed Open, and Came Out Cleaner
