TuffWrap® Safety Committee Achieves State Certification
TuffWrap is very excited to announce that our Safety Committee has been officially certified by the State of Pennsylvania. Here is an excerpt of the congratulation letter from the PA Dept. Of Labor:
“Congratulations! The Department of Labor and Industry has approved your Application for Certification of your Workplace Safety Committee effective January 30, 2018. Your safety committee has been certified under the Article X Health and Safety provisions of the Workers’ Compensation Act (Act) Under Section 1002(b) of the Act.”
The TuffWrap Safety Committee meets every month to formally discuss all aspects of company safety. This includes reviewing incidents and providing feedback on efforts to ensure employee safety is priority number one. The committee is made up of five employee representative members who possess a variety of expertise as well as appropriate guest members.
At TuffWrap, we believe that our investment in a safety committee and companywide safety plan is critical to keeping our employees safe and meeting our customers’ requirements. By achieving state certification, we continue to set the standard for excellence in our industry.
