Tuff Wrap employees being trained by our in-house
Construction Outreach Trainer/Safety Coordinator
Tuff Wrap's products, services and success are grounded in our proven commitment to safety… After all, that's what Tuff Wrap Installations is all about… offering a safe environment for your people and products during roofing and construction projects.
Our commitment is further evidenced by our in House OSHA Construction Outreach Trainer/Safety Coordinator. Every crew member is required to participate in the OSHA 10 hour safety course that includes:
- Fall Protection
- Stairways and Ladders - Subpart X
- Scaffolding - Subpart L
- Tools- Hand and Power - Subpart I
- Personal Protective and Life Saving Equipment - Subpart E
- General Safety and Health Provision - Subpart C
- Occupational Health and Environmental Controls - Subpart D
- Electrical - Subpart K
During the course, asbestos and lead safety is addressed in detail. Each crew member is also given the Competent Person Fall Protection Course. Since our men spend 90% of their time in aerial lifts, special attention is made to train in proper PFAS use and post fall rescue. Lift Certification is required for employment and taught by Mobile Lifts, Inc.
On site safety meetings and job hazard analysis are done prior to the start of a new project.
